The Content Creators are Making Cyber-Security Harder

Listen up content creators your content is making cyber-security harder.

What is a content creator? These are marketing professionals that work for companies putting up facebook posts, or blog posts for that company. While this is a great idea, I am concerned for security of many people because of the knowledge of such creators. If you are a content creator, how do you know what you are writing about?
Many content creators are well versed in marketing, not whatever they are writing about.
The creators of the content need to be experts to create real content.
Why is it important to be an expert? Let's look at some scenarios.
I googled just now "Roofing Companies Cleveland Ohio". I don't need a roofing company today but lets say I do. I'm gonna now click on the first roofing company website that is on the Google first page. When you are on the first page of Google this means you are relevant, lots of people go to this site and your site has lots of content. So I am on this website and I go to the blog, which has all the content that everyone is screaming at us about to update and create. I find a fluffy article about roof leaks. It tells me if a roof is leaking it can damage, insulation, electrical items, and could cause a fire. To fix this call this roofing company.
What this article does not tell me is reputation or skill level, in fact this whole website tells me nothing. All we know is the roofing company can afford a really good marketing person to write nice worded blogs. In the roofing company case this is not a big deal right? They come out they do an estimate and you don't like them you move on whatever right?
Lets look a more serious scenario, looking for a new piece of software.  Today I want a new Anti Virus. If I Google this term, there are 100s of options. Pick any website and look at the Blog section. There is great content there I am sure of it, but what I am not sure of is, whether it was written by a professional. How do we know what we read is true?
Take it to another level how about a Doctor, is their blog relevant? Is it the Doctor writing or is is a content creator?
The question we need to ask is, whether or not what we are reading is written by somebody who knows the content? If not its just a rumor or hearsay.
Content creators are great they save time! Bad content is going to undervalue brands. After the whole Fake news mess, the facebook advertising mess it is going to be harder to get people to trust companies. Having fluffy articles that pitch your business is not going to cut it. We need solid content created by those who know the content.
Once we do that we can know what we are getting is in fact the right stuff!
