Stop Network Marketing for Business Leads
What is the Magic of Network Marketing? It is the desire that we all as humans desire relationships. Here is what I have learned works when it comes to network marketing.
1. Get out!
Don't hang around the office, you are not going to market very well from the office. Sure you can buy advertising at the office and get them to come to you but that is not network marketing.
2. 3rd place marketing
Network marketing is a 3rd place marketing. What do I mean by that? Simply this; everyone has a home that is the 1st place many advertisers try getting buyers there via tv, mail and so on. 2nd place is someones work or school, so you can gain clients via your coworkers, or by calling decision makers. Network marketing is 3rd place marketing. Meeting people at church, at the bar, at a Chamber after hours. These are what we call 3rd place. The third place is where you go to talk about the other 2 places.
3. Be Memorable
No one likes a boring person, and no matter who you or what you do you are interesting. Don't walk into a Chamber after hours and expect everyone to talk to you about what you sell or what you do. The key is be memorable. Ask them about their family, how many kids do they have, what does their spouse do. The ideas are endless, its not about you, and you must be memorable. More often than not they will say "Tell me about you". Relationships are built upon the foundation be memorable.
4. Stop Network Marketing for Business Leads!
You cannot walk into someones 3rd place, and expect them to instantly start doing business. They are there for the relational factor, honestly most of the time they are tired they don't want to talk business at that time. They want to hang out and then if you hit off with them, you will probably end up scheduling a time to meet with them next week where you will almost always write business.
